'TREE SURGERY WORK CARRIED OUT FROM HEDGE TO FIELD & GARDEN TO FOREST AT THE MOST COMPETITIVE RATES AROUND'

Set up in 1987 this tree surgeon company has enjoyed continuous growth and development and today stands as one of the largest independent tree surgery companies in the South of England. We currently employ around ten full time Arborists supported by Chris Kunesch, owner and Director of the company, two office administrators and a technical support/safety officer. Cedardale tree surgery has consistently invested in equipment, motivated staff, and up to the minute training and as a result we have an enviable reputation for Quality Work, Efficiency and, above all, Customer Satisfaction.

Cedardale is an Approved tree surgeon Contractor through the Arboricultural Association and has recently undergone a rigorous re-inspection and assessment by the Association in order to retain our Approved status. The Company is included in the Recognised Contractors list for all the Local Authorities within a twenty mile radius of our base, and contract to Johnson Controls (IBM), most of the large building contractors in the area (including Mansell Construction, T L Contracting, Waldon Design), Grounds Maintenance companies (who manage most of the major computer companies), MOD sites, Hutchinson Telecom (3G), and more recently we have become the sole tree contractor responsible for maintenance of the target trees for T.A.G.(owners of Farnborough Airport).

At present we are able to offer our tree services for most types of tree care and maintenance, including the planting of standard to extra heavy standard trees (incorporating their own irrigation system), removal of deadwood from the crown of a tree for safety , removal of  branches to improve visibility or to provide greater height clearance over a highway or footpath, and crown thinning to improve light and air penetration.

When the Company is asked to remove trees they can either be felled or dismantled in sections using the latest techniques and equipment to ensure total control and safety. We can also remove the roots by stump grinding and re-instate the area to lawn if required or to allow replacement trees to be planted. As well as small pedestrian stump grinding machines we also have a large  P T O driven machine for the really big stumps and site clearance work.

We use more exotic machinery on a day to day basis if it offers a safer working environment for our staff, passers by, or reduces the chances of damage to property.

The photographs Left and Right are good examples

Health and Safety issues play an increasing part in modern life and many of our clients are pleased to delegate their duty as employers to us. We have the experience and knowledge to provide concise and relevant Site Specific Risk Assessments for the work in hand, backed up by our own ‘up to date’ Health and Safety Policy, Procedure and Organisation documents, and Generic Risk Assessments all of which can be provided on request.
